Installation Instructions
Laying Out The Floor
Measure each wall and find the center. Snap a chalk mark or use a straight
edge, and mark intersecting lines in the middle of the room. Starting in
the middle, lay a row of tiles to each wall until less than one tiles width
is left. Repeat the process for the opposite direction.
Installation of Perimeter Tiles
The perimeter tiles must be cut to fit against the wall. Measure the distance
from the last tile to wall. Using a straight edge and utility knife, cut off the
excess width of tile. Place the cut tile in the space and continue down the
wall. At the corners you will need to cut the tile on 2 edges.
To cut around irregular shapes, ie: pipes, door jambs, etc. cut a cardboard
template and trace onto rubber tile.
Installation of Tiles
Floor must be smooth, clean and free from grease and oils. Use a
trowel to spread your adhesive evenly. If taping, only the joints need t
o be covered.
